Infinite Erie and Minority Community Investment Coalition (MCIC) hosted a press conference to welcome Integrated Agriculture Systems (INTAG) Aquaponics to Erie and Savocchio Opportunity Park. INTAG has been the consultant on the Grow Erie project at Savocchio Opportunity Park for the past three years.

Representatives of the Biden Harris White House toured two projects funded through American Rescue Plan dollars that came into the City and County of Erie.

Largest POWER funding package to date is expected to create more than 2,400 new jobs and train over 10,500 workers for new opportunities in Appalachia’s coal-impacted communities across 10 states.

The 12th Street Reimagined draft report and additional public input will be used to create a detailed, multiyear strategic plan for improvements to the west Erie corridor.

The development, a result of a public-private partnership called Grow Erie, will bring a commercial aquaponics facility and a community greenhouse to the 25-acre park.
